Ti-6Al-6V-2Sn (Titanium 6-6-2) is a high-strength alpha-beta titanium alloy containing approximately 6% aluminum, 6% vanadium, and 2% tin. Developed for demanding aerospace and high-performance engineering applications, it offers an excellent combination of strength, toughness, fatigue resistance, and elevated-temperature performance.

Compared with the widely used Ti-6Al-4V alloy, Ti-6Al-6V-2Sn provides higher strength and improved hardenability, making it particularly suitable for heavily loaded structural components. The alloy maintains good mechanical properties at moderately elevated temperatures while retaining the corrosion resistance and favorable strength-to-weight ratio characteristic of titanium alloys.
