Hex impact driver once again raises the bar for 12V performance with best in class driving speed, power, and size. By Focusing on productivity, this impact driver gets the job done faster by being over 20% faster in application speed vs. The competition.
Chemical Composition
Main structural materials: Aluminum alloy (body housing), carbon/alloy steel (internal drive components & magazine), and rubber (grip and protective parts). Typical alloy composition includes Aluminum (85–95%), Silicon (5–12%), Magnesium (<1%), with steel components mainly iron (Fe) with carbon and alloying elements.
Mechanical Properties
Designed for pneumatic operation with high durability. Key characteristics include high impact resistance, wear resistance in the steel driver blade and magazine, and lightweight structural strength from the aluminum housing. Typical operating air pressure range: 70–120 PSI.
Thickness Range
Compatible with 15-gauge angled finish nails, typically ranging from 1-1/4 in to 2-1/2 in (32–64 mm) nail length for trim and finish carpentry applications.
Tolerance
Standard manufacturing tolerance for nail-driving tools and fasteners: ±0.05 – 0.1 mm for nail diameter and mechanical fitting parts, ensuring proper feeding and driving accuracy.
